The event is part of LA2026, a special project of the USC-Huntington Early Modern Studies Institute (EMSI). We are partnering with six institutions in L.A. County, including LA Plaza, on programs that bring humanities scholars, civic leaders, and members of the public into conversation about California's unique relationship to the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.
