Pasadena City College’s Office of Institutional Equity, Diversity, and Justice is proud to invite Stevie Ruiz to join us on campus this fall for a conversation about his book, Stewards of the Land: Race and Reclaiming Environmental Labor in the American West. His talk will be featured as part of our Building Racial Literacy Speaker Series and believe his work will offer an important and timely opportunity for our campus community to deepen its understanding of race, labor, land, and environmental justice.
